Christian character training is our no.1 goal

Promoting a Positive Attitude Towards Learning

Children’s Rainbow Day School / Rainbow Christian Academy’s goal is to train students to be the best they can be for God and to do everything heartily unto the Lord. Christian character training is the number one goal along with academic greatness. Teachers are trained to follow specific classroom procedures, which provide an orderly, organized classroom enabling students to learn, interact, and be the best they can be. The curriculum used is centered on Biblical Principles. The A Beka Curriculum is used exclusively in the preschool and Kindergarten classrooms where a solid, traditional program is implemented. In the elementary grades the A Beka curriculum is used for most subjects with the addition of Language and Creative Writing Curriculums. In the middle school, the Abeka Curriculum is used for Science and History, providing specific areas of study with a focus on the Creator and His Creation.

A-Beka™ Book Reading Program

Our school’s curriculum is designed to instill academic excellence and spiritual growth in your child. We make sure your child’s skills are improving through our A-Beka Book Reading Program. It is an intensive phonics program, not a sight method reading program, taught systematically throughout the kindergarten and lower elementary grades.

Before-School Program

Get to work early without worrying about your child going to school. We have a free-of-charge morning care service for parents who must leave for work before the class program begins. It starts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:40 a.m.

After-School Program

Be at peace even when you can’t pick up your child from school on time. At 3:15 p.m., children on the school grounds will be taken to our aftercare service with a $7.00 charge per student. Our middle school and elementary aftercare is from 3:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. with a cost of $100.00 per month.
