Admissions
A prospective student is eligible for admission if they have met all of our entrance requirements and conditions as follows:
Preschool – VPK
A student applying for preschool must complete all the required entrance forms and submit registration fees. Students entering VPK must be 4 years old before September 1st
Kindergarten Requirements
A student applying for Kindergarten must demonstrate readiness for Rainbow Christian Academy’s Kindergarten curriculum and be 5 years old before Sept 1st.
1st to 5th Grade Requirements
A student applying for 1st – 5th grade must pass an entrance exam & must provide a satisfactory report card. Students applying for 3rd -8th grade will also interview with the principal.
6th to 8th Grade Requirements
A student applying for 6th-8th grade must pass an entrance exam, must provide a satisfactory report card & references and must interview with the principal.
Nondiscriminatory Statement
Children’s Rainbow Day School and Rainbow Christian School admits students of any race, color or ethnicity and grants to them all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to or made available to all students at the school, 2 years old through the eighth grade.

Entrance Test: All students entering 1st-8th grade will be given an entrance test. Students must be able to test on grade level to be considered for enrollment. A $100 testing fee must be paid before the entrance test will be scheduled.
Florida School Choice Scholarships
Rainbow Christian Academy accepts Florida school choice. We are pleased that all families now are able to choose Christian education.
Enrollment is complete once all enrollment fees have been paid and entrance requirements have been met. RCA does not offer a special education program or therapy services and therefore does not normally accept the WA Scholarship. Students must test on or above grade level and be able to maintain the rigor and pace of a regular classroom.
Admission is based on an entrance exam, standardized test results (SAT or similar test), report cards, conduct records and an interview with the principal.
