Admissions Children's Rainbow Day School and Rainbow Christian School welcome students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, 2 years old through the eighth grade.  Children must be 2 years old by September 1st.
Tuition Tuition for 2010-11:  preschool is $5,000, due in 10 monthly payments of $500 beginning August 1st.  Tuition for K5 is $4,750, due in 10 monthly payments of $475.  Elementary (grades 1-6) tuition is $5,000, due in 10 monthly payments of $500.  Middle School (grades 7-8) tuition is $5,500, due in 10 monthly payments of $550.  Registration fees, book fees and special activity fees are required in addition to tuition.  Second and subsequent siblings receive discounts.  Click here for a complete fee schedule
Hours Preschool hours are from 7 AM to 6 PM.  

VPK hours are from 8:45am to 11:45am.

Kindergarten (K5) hours are 8:15 AM to 2 PM with morning care from 7 to 8 AM provided free of charge.

1st - 5th grade hours are 8:15 AM to 3 PM with morning care from 7 to 8 AM provided free of charge. Middle School 6th - 8th grade hours are 8:00 to 3:15.

Extended care until 6 PM is available to kindergarten, elementary, and middle school parents at the rate of $100.00 per month.

Uniforms All preschool, kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students are required to wear uniforms.  There are several variations of the school uniform which may be purchased at Sunshine School Uniforms, 9660 Sunset Drive, 305-595-6200.  You may also purchase uniforms on the web at www.sunshineuniforms.com  Some used uniforms are available for a minimal cost in the office.
Lunch Children in preschool, elementary, and middle school should bring their own nutritious lunch or purchase a hot lunch from our catered hot lunch program.  Snacks are provided for 2 through 4 year olds at 9:30 and 2:45.  Kindergarten and elementary students bring their own snacks and water bottle.
Extracurricular Activities We offer many opportunities for children to shine outside of the classroom.  We have soccer, basketball and softball teams for 5th-8th graders; piano lessons and violin lessons for 1st through 8th graders and drum and guitar lessons and choir for 3rd through 8th graders.  Lessons are scheduled before, during, and after school.  There are ensemble and praise band opportunities available by audition.

When you enroll your child you will need the following items:  a completed application and emergency contact card, a copy of birth certificate, current physical (current within 2 years, documented on HRS Form 3040), Florida Certification of Immunization, statement of cooperation, tuition agreement signed by all parents, registration fees and book fees.
